Hi Goops, welcome to vo.
The game has no enough big player base to play only within a nationality.
The current player base has many nationalities to interact with. The gaming experience gets richer from that and English is the main vector of communication.
I suggest you to stick to English, you will be able to improve your language skills and benefit from the exchanges with the current player base.
I am a native French speaker, but i've chosen not use it in game for immersion.

PS: It is more enjoyable to slaughter English then French language ;-)
