Vendetta Online Newsletter History.

This is a list of our Newsletters, which are sent out periodically to those who choose to subscribe (check the little box in Account Info on the left side, to receive it).

The Newsletters usually relate some changes and improvements, and then speculate a little on future development. Obviously, these predictions are not always accurate, which is why they've become increasingly sparse from more recent newsletters.

Still, they do capture a lot of major changes about the game, and the hopes and goals of that particular moment. They can be useful to get an idea of what's changed over a period of time.

But, keep in mind that not all changes make it into the Newsletters. If we described every bug-fix and tweak, they would be excessively long. Those can be found in the Changelog on game startup.

There are also a few one-shot mini newsletters, or notifications of specific sales, that are not included in here, as they didn't have a "web" version, or go out to the same "general newsletter" contact list.

June 2015 - Threaded renderer in development, Shadows, Dynamic Lights, etc.
August 2015 - Dynamic economy changes, Server migration, DX11 renderer in development.
December 2015 - DX11 renderer and dynamic lighting, Mobile Freemium tweaks, station defenses.
April 2016 - Looking at Future VR support, gameplay changes, etc.
October 2016 - Ships in development, Liveries.
December 2016 - Development announcements for Goliath, Capella, iPhone, also GearVR release.
June 2017 - New Hornet, Ragnarok, Centaur, Goliath and Capella. Impending iPhone release.
November 2017 - Capship Hulks, Space Debris, New Centurion, OS X (PPC dropped), VendettaMark.
December 2017 - Holiday sale, New Warthog, Gameplay changes.
February 2018 - Ship, Graphics and Feature Updates.
August 2018 - Pirates, Discord and VR.
October 2018 - Graphics, Engine and Vulkan.
December 2018 - Holiday Promo, NPC Chaos, 2019 Foreshadowing?
August 2019 - Mobile Improvements, Ping meter, Gameplay tweaks.
March 2020 - Totally-Free COVID lockdown play, Chat Abuse system, NPC performance.
May 2020 - New System, Hive Conquest, New Economy, CSR Race, Badges.
August 2020 - New cross-platform F2P model, Prediction Monitoring (combat latency), Deneb, CSR.
November 2020 - Enduring Content, Trade Convoys, Chromebook support.
Holiday 2020 - Capship remote commands, Capship Debris and Hulks, TempKoS now in Game Time.
March 2021 - UIT standing changes, MacOS and Windows Vulkan updates, upcoming Menu UI tweaks.
May 2021 - Interface updates, Localization, NPC radar limits and mines, NFZ changes and more.
July 2021 - Sammic Ore, Deneb Teleportation, Capships, Cargo Tractor Beam, Notifications, Gamepads.
September 2021 - Player Capship Turret Automation, Mobile Interface improvements, Drop limits.
November 2021 - New Missions, Android improvements, Russian support, Background loading, etc.
December 2021 - Holiday Promo, Capship Commands, New Missions, Languages.
December 2022 - Holiday Promo, More Capships Commands, Missions, Game tweaks.
November 2023 - Covering this year's extensive updates, including player-owned content, missions, and platform changes
December 2023 - Holiday Promo, Steam Deck Beta, updates including temporary keys and several fixes
