About 3 or 4 years ago while on vacation I played a computer game kinda similar to Vendetta. A whole universe with stations (but not in space), 2 different political nations (I think...) And 3 characters you could chose to be: trader, mercenary or a scavenger. Game was only single player, yet I remember it was really fun to play until I got shot down by AI pirate. You could interact with unfolding stories and choose your role and some missions. Purchase ships, cargo weapons, etc. Since you guys are veterans of gaming could you help me out? Any1 knows what I am talking about? I can’t remember the title and of course I can’t find it anywhere on net. I think game was for win98 (if I remember...)
