How's about sending an article to slashdot and tell about vendetta? Maybe some of them could help out... but I'm afraid doing so will fry the poor webserver...

Maybe we could seed a torrent of the whole program (not just the updater), to relieve stress on the server from tons of people downloading Vendetta... The "download" link could be temporarily changed to a link to the .torrent...

I think we should wait for the devs to say they are ok with this. I mean it is their servers we're talking about.

In the past the devs have asked that people NOT mention Vendetta in Slashdot, so ya, please wait until you hear from them.

for this case i can offer bandwidth for at last two or three days.

Somehow I don't think what we need a few million computer savy individuals suddenly finding a free multiplayer game for everyone to try all at the same time. Not only would we end up looking at a lifelike reaction of a galatic battle front, but the bandwidth would exceed that of a small country...

the point is to get them all to write to some publisher or something, not just play vendetta
