I.. still don't even see it. Curt did the Platinum skin, and what you're describing looks like a stylistic choice to me, it doesn't look "wrong"?

Anyway, maybe you could cover those spots on your monitor with masking tape, to hide the offending pixels from your vision..

Oh, I ~think~ I see: the left area does look stylistic - i also dont care, since I use blue or NBskin.
The right area's arrow, its got 2 black pixels as though alpha-transparency isnt working.

put the grey_plastic folder in the vo folder and add this to the [vendetta] section of your Config.ini "skin=grey_plastic\" for doze or "skin=grey_plastic/" for linux
