So it cuts the animation in half. What are you trying to do, make everyone fly greyhounds and run away all game?
Big step backwards with this one. You're supposed to be encouraging combat not encourage running.

The first person one, which changes the FOV according to the progression of the jump. It effectively halves the time needed to initiate a jump.

The fpv jump is slower than the normal one they added a delay to control your ship

It is the exact same delay time for actual ship control. The cut scenes are just what you see. It has been 100% confirmed by Incarnate in a different thread that I will not be looking up for you.

The entry of jump is faster, and the exit is exactly the same. Just goes to show no one spends much time in combat.

I even timed it.

The entry is faster for everyone who uses that option though, and everyone can use it, and I do not care how able you are in combat, 1 second isn't really game breaking for anyone.

It is when the most kills come from the last second. With lag this is magnified even more.

It actually goes to show how often I let someone get into a jump sequence before I blow them up.

I haven't done much else in the game besides combat for past year. Most combat that occurs nowadays is at the very least semi-consensual.The art of avoiding fights in VO was mastered long ago and there is no coming back from it, unfortunately.

The only real meaningful non-consensual pvp going on is popping capships. This doesn't have any real impact on getting a capship or not.
