Udv raptor faction requirements?
The game doesnt really make this clear, nor does the wiki..
What is the current faction requirements to buy/fly this thing? Is it just -dislike- for both itani and serco factions, or can u be hated by itsni or serco and disliked by itani??
Right now i just, just finally finished farming the licence requirement, showing dislike with itani and respected with serco faction.. I want to just shoot an npc so i can finally fly this ship ive been farming weeks for.
Will that work? If i just get hated by one or both factions?
Like, can i buy and fly the udv raptor if im dislike OR more than that rank of faction standing with both itani and serco?

This is the quintessential carebear ship. You have to have high UIT and have good faction with both Serco and Itani.
Okay after so much bullshit and 5 hours of my life wasted.
Requirements of the UDV raptor:
Dislike or higher standing for both: serco AND itani.
800+ rep with UIT (Not tpg, just UIT).
And after completion of the TPG test pilot mission ...
You can buy the udv raptor from any station.
Christ.
Sorry if i sound mad but had i learned that info id be enjoying my day off instead of grinding.

Please:
Put these requirements in the description of the UDV raptor itself.

It's already in the description.
As for the UIT faction standing requirement, none of the ship descriptions give you the exact numeric value. And the basic rule is, you need standing for the stations where you buy; TPG stations don't sell UDVs, UIT stations do.
Additonally, though it is outdated at times, the wiki still provides useful information.
The test mission isn't a requirement. If I recall correctly it used to be one to get the regular Raptor, but it has not been needed for a while now.

learn how to read
As to what i meant:
The description does not imply completing the tpg test pilot mission..
So why is this such an issue?
Well, after farming rep gains for both factions, and then farming rep for tpg, and then uit, and finding out it still wont let you purchase the ship,
And on the vo wiki the description says "now the tpg mission requirement isnt required"
And being able to buy both the mark 1 and 2 raptors but not the udv variant,
Caused like my whole day off encompassing running proc missions and subsequently being told "read the wiki. Read ship descriptions"
And this gem
"Learn how to read"
I mean it wouldntve of been an issue had the things i read been exactly the true descriptipn of the ship reqs.
But, in all honesty, i thinky my anger is mostly directed towards nonsense really.
But i figured id make a public showing on how ship requirements not stated can lead to quite an issue
Wrapping this up..
Had i just completed the little tpg test pilot mission it wouldve been smooth sailing.

You do not need to pass the TPG test mission for the UDV.
Honestly, what are you going on about? As we have been telling you, the tpg test mission DOES NOTHING at this time. The UDV requires its liscences, and an uber-high faction score (I was POS before I had the liscs to buy it, so I dunno the actual score, but its up there - as it should be). The raptor mk1 and mk2 require low liscences and a high tpg standing (of admired, I think, but may be 700 instead. Dunno).
The test pilot mission use to let you fly the normal raptors, but that isnt the case anymore.
Ya know? Ichitomi said all this allready.

So called "nonsense" is worth losing your marbles over? Silly little boy, you just need to chill and get laid.

Didn't I tell you in chat the other day: +800 faction or better. And dislike or better with serco & itani nations.
Easy peasy.
Also a small note: Any non hated non uit player you kill in monitored UIT space will result in a small loss of UIT faction. 20 or so points if I remember correctly. So if you plan on being a pirate in UIT space, make sure you keep supplies in UIT stations for constant proc missions.

Nah knauf surprisingly u were the most helpful, its just i was told so many other requirements to so i ran across the galaxy figuring out wtf was going on
I notice the ship description lists requirements when viewed from inventory in the screenshot above, but is this also visible in the buy screen?
This seems like a valid criticism of the ship faction requirements in general. "Specially Sanctioned Personnel" could mean anything from "You can't buy neut 3 as UIT" or "You can't buy a pre-manufactured superlight" to "You need 999 rep with Tunguska." The actual requirements should be listed when trying to purchase.

"Specially Sanctioned Personnel" never means higher standing is needed. It means a specific badge or mission etc is needed.
When higher local standing is needed, it says "Faction Personnel", rather than "Specially Sanctioned".

The screenshot above is from the buy screen, Savet, not the inventory.
Ah, I see now. Sorry...I may have had a bit too much to drink.
Sharp as a marble, Savet. But worry not - you're a veritable genius in comparison to the OP ;)
My genius is only dwarfed by my humility!
Ookay, I think we're done here. Thanks.
