VO in China
I'll be in Beijing for a few months soon. Does anyone know if I'll be able to log on to VO through "the great firewall?"
Would be fun to pew still.

I myself do not know - please tell us when you get there! I'm interested to find out.
Moa's got em now boys
Gaming is rather big in china for wow and such so I would guess you can.
They mostly filter cultural and political stuff.
Don't forget you are in china and do not have any rights over there....

Very likely yes.
The GCF is using machine learning for blocking specific things. It can detect nested tunnels very well (http over http, socks/http proxies, vpns, etc) and usual adds packet loss or high delays to them (if not block completely).
They train their neural networks to the things they want to block, i doubt the kind of traffic patterns from VO would fall into any of them.

Your controls may be upside down.
I wonder if he will launch upside down?
Nah, space gravity will turn him right side up. No worries.

Well, here I am in Beijing, China. It may be the shitty hostel WiFi, but it seems I can't log in, VPN or not. For now I wouldn't expect to see ~_~ around till late may.
