I am a f2p person obviously and would like to make this post and get a direct answer. Do the sub codes work or is it a ploy to make easy in game currency. Id like to figure this out before I spend hours gathering creds. Please be truthful and simple. Preferably an answer from a dev or vet.

Buying a sub code with ingame credits would be a violation of the current EULA. See RP for recent dev discussion of that/why doing so could get you muted and/or banned.

I don't think u know how subs work..... subbing unlocks levels higher than 4/4/4/4/4 and capitol class ships, it does not and will not unlock free credits. Unless "sub cards" are a different thing.

You can buy keys but see Lecter's post above, only buy them with real money.

You can use a 'friend key' once to basically get 14 days of full subscription. If you've already been given and used a friend key, a second one will not work on that account. 'Friend key' is a one-time thing. If you haven't used one ask around, many vets will give them.

Lite Sub is $1 per month and lets you play on a personal computer, but has the same level caps as f2p.

Full sub is $9.99 (less in bulk) and opens everything.

If you have a personal computer, I'd suggest starting with the Lite Sub. Playing on a computer is convenient.
