In-game behavior
I have been able to be in-game now more than ever, albeit quietly and sometimes on alts.
I deal with negative behavior privately for the most part, and generally a polite warning is sufficient for most users. Many simply change their behavior without replying, which is fine, and some apologize which is unnecessary but appreciated. A few refuse or are nasty. That doesn't usually end well, though I have been able to talk a few down and resolve things amicably.
Some users are actually shocked to learn that their behavior is not allowed, and seem to be truly unaware of the Rules of Conduct (ROC) and the End User License Agreement (EULA) which dictate what can and cannot be done in-game and on the website. I did not write these, Guild Software did.
<------- Please look at the left margin of your screen here and review both the EULA and the ROC.
Please do NOT be the "deputy rules police" by pointing out every perceived infraction to the guides - we're probably working on it behind the scenes, and you are making it harder to do our jobs.
Also, PLEASE stop trying to bait the guides by deliberately trying to toe the line of what is acceptable. We're volunteers and are just trying to make the game better by allowing the developers to concentrate on developing.
Thanks.
