Hello, is there a way to use voice to text in the game when playing with a Gear VR using a samsung S7? It's very time consuming to use the on-screen keyboard and pick letters by looking at them. I saw something about an add-on app from the play store but I didn't see any details and I'm not certain that applies using a Gear VR. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I use a S6: I'm assuming it's the same as on a S7. When you have the keyboard open tap on the "mic" icon, wait for the audio cue, and speak normally. No add-ons are required, as far as I am aware.

Yeah, like Phaserlight said. It is kinda finicky where you may need to press the button a second time if it fails to start listening.

I couldn't get voice chat and voice to text working at the same time. If that is your problem you need to turn off voice chat and re start the game to get it working.

As soon as I clicked on the little mic button it worked fine but it only works if I have a headset with microphone. I haven't messed with any phone or game settings to make it work without an external mic although I'm guessing it would if I changed a few things.

Mine worked fine using the phone mic and headphones.
