I've looked all over this website and others and still I can not find out how to build a Trident. And no one on
VO will tell me either.

There are four hidden stations in greyspace that you'll have to find. One of them has the mission that constructs the Trident Type M, but it requires components that you have to build using missions at the other three stations.

Ok so like which stations? Do you mean one like at Latos? I've heard of a secret station their.

The conq. stations are at Latos I8, Pelatus C12 and Bractus M14. The Trident construction station is at Latos M7.

But the first requirement that you need to meet is having a full subscription. The manufacturing missions for the Trident Project become available to you at Combat 5.

Also big part of it is having a moth XC for the bigger parts available at trade 9

I'd recommend having good standing (>600) with TPG, Xang Xi, Ineubis, and BioCom before trying to start building that. TPG for the Moth XC as previously mentioned. BioCom for their manufacturing facilities in Nyrius, and Xang Xi/Ineubis available ships and weapons near the conquerable stations.

And remember, the trident is a tool, not a weapon.
I would not recommend using it for combat, if someone pcbs it with furies, its blind spots will let it die fast.

You have to build a reactor at pelatus first before you can get the trident mission unless thats been changed - and the reactor requires a single piece of samoflange

All players have a beacon to Latos M-7 now.

The MSRP of a Trident Type M is a little under 2,000,000,000cr

A majority of the materials can be purchased from Latos N-2

The Type M Leviathan drops the critical materials for the reactor and Type M computer (Samo+M Agg)

The rest is acquired from nation space hive NPC's and stations.

Just a FYI, you can buy the Moth XC with TPG -599, It has no faction requirements. The Biocom missions are also available to anyone who docks there. The last 2? Will sell you decent ships at +200, so really no need to grind them for this purpose.

I find the fastest way to grind the trade is to have someone with a trident drop off two loads of Synth Hydrocarbons at Sedina D-14 from Odia M-14 or even Latos N-15, and just start turning them in via the trading guild->procurement(bulk) missions, takes you right to 9 trade in about 10 mins.

Edras G-11 "Greyshop" Sells HE mining beams that can be equipped at Latos M-7 without any license requirements and 4 mining can be had with plugins like http://www.voupr.com/plugin.php?name=autojett_v2 in no time.

Building itself is only half the battle. Really less than a 1/4. The real struggle is transporting the cargo safely, navigating the hordes of pilots whose sole purpose in the game seemingly appears to prey on easy targets. There are tricks of the trade, but they increase the difficulty of construction exponentially.

It does help to do the work in the "off" hours....
