Hi,

I just started playing the game with Samsung Gear VR /S7 Edge and the Steelseries controller. It works but I have no functionality with the right stick. Also I can only fly where I look, I can't look around the ship.

When I go to calibrate the controller the right thumb stick is there and works perfectly, I just can't use it in game.

Please help, I would like to fly like a normal game and look around with my head independent of flying direction.

Hi.

I think by default there is no way to look around with the sticks, and it is actually better if you set the sticks to move the ship rather than look around.

For example my way to set up the "second" stick is for strafing the ship. I think by default it actually controls speed. Looking does just that, it looks. You can set looking to steer but I would advise against that.

My preferred setup is

Left stick = turn lr + ud
Right stick = strafe lr + ud
Shoulder triggers = roll
l1 + r1 = shooty shooty
a = turbo
b = forwards
x = brake
y = backwards
dpad = interface stuff and targetting

So yeah, there is a head tracking thingy but im not sure how to configure it properly. Even though I've played this game for years when I first tried it out on VR it freaked the hell out of me control wise. Sorry if I have not answered your question, but yeah. Certain things about the VR setup boggle my mind too.
