Nope. The game is running fine, the update servers are all active and online, and exchanging data. There are no current alarms.

If I had to guess, this may be related to your local connection? If you're on a school or office network, someone may have installed a network proxy that allows web traffic to work, but blocks the game launcher? Or it could just be a firewall issue in general.

If you copy/paste information from the actual update client, showing it failing to connect, that might provide more insight.

If you're on public wifi, try switching to mobile data instead. I've seen plenty of places (Panera Bread...) that block the updater's ports.

It's not really your fault, after all. Chances are your device has some OS software instability that's cleared out by a reboot.. so, it's on them, not on your. No device should need to be rebooted to work ;).
