Sili, I was only going to keep track of who was holding the "world's best" record. But now that I know that isn't stored through server restarts I'm not going to bother. I completely believed you that you had gotten that time.

Anyways I'm not going to bother keeping track of what player matches up with the current "world's best" with it being reset so often. So hopefully some day we'll get live updating Waylonics signs with fun things like top three race scores of all time/today and for each ship. It'd be a great rosetta stone for the Waylonics letters, if not the symbols.

Sili, the "world's best" track times are now stored on the server. s40 seems to be down right so I can't check what the current world's best is... but I think they've only been keeping track since around Thanksgiving (Thursday last week) so earlier scores weren't recorded, though obviously many people got better scores before then.

Vulture of Valkyrie used, Eldrad? I only use a Centurion for racing.

I use a cent for racing other people... but I used a valk to get the top scores so I'd know who held them, but I didn't dot them perfectly, so that other people could beat them.

see thats the problem... dont get me wrong eldrad i know you are a good pilot and heck i know you are 1 of the best pilots in vendetta, if not the best, but people race for the best times in different ships...

a valk is more manuverable than anything... so yeah most people are gonna use the valk, but shouldnt a best time exist for each ship that races the track?

i hate to suggest it but should a racing ship be created for the race tracks if they are kept in the real game???

io, definately... I just started this to deal with the here and now, because I don't expect the devs to spend much time giving us frills in racing unless they feel like procrastinating on doing something else. Yes if racing is in the final game there it will be polished, with times kept for different ships, maybe a billboard with the scores, and names of even the top three racers, or todays best and overall best. But I don't think things like that will happen soon even if the races stick around.

I have no idea what you were trying to say, but I do hold 45 best for now.

Ok, so for the moment vendetta will only tell you the world's best time for a track after you go through it and won't tell you who holds that time at all. So I'm going to try to keep an updated list here of who owns the current best scores. So if you beat the world's best post your time here, I'll verify it in game and update the list.

(It's all me at the moment but most of those times aren't too hard to beat, just no one's done it since they started saving them. I did all those races in a valk with a hvy engine)

I got a 00:50.241 on track 45, w00t!
