if i haven't seen ghosts, there was a message like downloading about 4 or 7 megs (not sure) while upgrading from 3.3.7 to 3.3.9

I went to 3.3.9 too, but no idea what changed.

bug fixes, behind the scenes stuff. It's more a matter of restoring function at the moment, rather than adding or changing. That can begin again when the server is whipped into shape.

I have actually noticed more bugs crop up with the recent version. But whateva. The bugs are half the fun. Assuming the lag doesn't drive you loco first.

New versions have been going up when bugs get fixed. People haven't really been telling me, or sending me changelogs, so I haven't updated the newposts or motd's yet. Shooting from the hip for the moment.

I donj't care when these get fixed, just as long as they do.

3.3.8 was an attempt to correct a few outstanding bugs and mildly optimize the server. Well, the fixes had worse problems than they intended to fix, and the server was optimized a bit prematurely, so we released 3.3.9 to fix the fix and I reverted the server for the time being. Yes, it is going to lag. Our lag fixes work for a while, but then they explode. We're working on it.

As of right now, I can't connect to the server. It just sits at "connecting" forever.

anyone else having this problem? I don't think the server is down, there are 19 people on according to the page.
