Thank you greenwall, for being a loyal fan to me and appearing under nearly every post I make.
I can't say I blame him. You are quite the sexy beast.
Join the glorious Serco Nation!
P.S.: To the devs: Please just change everyone who requests nation changes in the future to Serco, no matter what.

+1 Niki.
I still think this stuff should cost money.
$5 or like 1500 crystal for nation changes

Just randomize the players nation each time they log in!
I still agree that nation changes and name changes should cost.

Usually I fall on the side of not-allowed-ever-make-a-damned-alt-you-lazy-bastard, but I'll admit to one instance of hypocrisy on that, having changed one alt ONCE, years ago, before the faction redux made Nation changes an exploit for ship access. If indeed nation changes are such a burden to dev-time, but they still want to allow it:
Option 1:
Allow 3 nation changes per account, but only once per character ID. Cap the character eligibility level at combat 7 to avoid the Valk/Prom exploit. If you didn't figure out you picked the wrong nation by level 7, too bad. This could be an option on the account page of the website.
Option 2:
Lore-based. Make a citizenship mission tree for each nation, charge a huge fee, make a bunch of hoops to jump through, even including surgical alteration, culling inventory of illegal ships, neutralizing faction exclusions, etc... Itani and Serco wishing to change to the other side of the war would have to first become UIT (or Grey if that ever happens), making it twice as expensive and time-consuming. Once you've nation-changed to Itani or Serco, it should never be possible to change to the other. If Grey ever becomes a player lack-of-faction, a similar restriction could be placed between UIT/Grey. Once a character has picked those two mutual exclusions, it could be possible to bounce between their preferred Nation and Corporate zone, if they had the time/credits/inclination.
Name Changes: give each account 3 tokens to alter names on the website. Sell more for $5 ea.
If an in-game option like # 2 above is used for nation changes, a name change can be included, separate from your tokens (the idea being you are buying a new identity)
