Server outage
The server unexpectedly restarted today and was not accepting logins for a couple of hours. It's back up again and we are investigating the issue.
We're very sorry for any inconveniences this has caused.

Make sure you reset your Pk's to 0 as restitution for this egregious crime!
FEED THE DAMN HAMSTERS !!!!
Rename this thread to "Server OutRage!" ;-)
No logins for a few hours? Needs more nagios checks.
Feed the hamsters? More like Don't feed the Hive...
So, did all the babysitting and server crashing wreck our chances of seeing an update this week?
Well, seems vo is having a hassle with servers and the whole internet thing, stuff happens, I tend to think that as a small business they are doing fairly well to hold it together and keep things going, so well done on that front.
So, on the theme of these things happen. Many years ago, early 80s, I was involved in testing some stuff in three temperature cycling ovens controlled and logged by memory by three sharp mz 80 computers. Two ran through their cycles ( weeks long ) perfectly, the third for no reason that anyone could fathom seemed to pack in completely at about 7 am. Code was checked, the whole thing tested, all seemed in order. So I was tasked with turning up at 6 am to find out why No. 3 was being silly.
I arrived, I duly watched. Promptly at 7 am the cleaner arrived, unplugged No. 3, plugged in the hoover, vacuumed the floor, then plugged the computer back in.
Really, no matter what you do in engineering something will always turn up that buggers it all up. So I understand the hassles the devs have keeping it all going and appreciate the efforts they make when the unexpected happens.

Janitor unplugs VO *
Once I watched a young IT manager at Citibank trip on a power cord and pull it out of the server.
