how can I get credit(c) from other character?

Oct 11, 2015 [KOR]Valkyrie link
I have 2 character, one has enough money but another is starting now.
Is there a way to give credit to other charcter or player?

yes, use a bank or another player in game to transfer between characters -- there is no direct means to do what you want

Which is pretty damn silly when you think about how old this game is.

No, it's not silly. Using a go-between encourages building an in-game player network. As it says in the UIT training missions, "trust is the most valuable commodity".

Meatfoocker, I recommend you stop trolling our boards.

Also, if you don't want to trust anyone, you can buy a whole bunch of expensive items on one character, drop them in some oddball sector, log on your other character, grab those and sell them. There will be some loss involved but nobody has to know who your alts are that way.

Just make sure you're quick about it. Items only persist for 15 minutes while floating in space. My recommendation would be to park the poor character in that sector first before switching to the rich character to make the drop. That way when you switch back to the poor character, he's already right there ready to pick it up without having to worry about interruptions.

15 min? I thought empty sectors reset in like a minute or something

Cargo persistence is independent of sector awakeness nowadays.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried using a dummie guild to do this? Assuming both characters are unguilded, the main character would create a bogus guild, dump credits into the bank, invite the new character. The new character then joins, robs the bank and 48 hrs later both are free of the guild.

You can't invite alts that are on the same account as you, because they can't be online to receive the invitation.

As to the question of whether a proto-guild even has a functioning bank... I don't know. I kind of doubt it, but I'll check the next time I'm online.

No, guilds only have a guild bank once formed. And like stated above, not only can you not invite yourself to found a guild, no two characters from the same account can be either.
