Why is the Livery not a cash purchase?
Seems to me this would be a suitable RL money purchase, I am wondering why its bought with in-game money. Bling is the ideal way to show support, in my humble opinion.
Yeah I thought they wrote the code necessary to support in-game purchases like that a while ago. Maybe that was only for the mobile platform but not PC which is why they didn't roll it out.
It's a little more complicated than that, and we wanted to roll out this livery as a test as quickly as possible, to have the system well-tested before we notify the people who supported EverSpace, and so on.
In App Purchase items that are for cash have to be individually set up on each respective platform holder (a fixed requirement of the respective platforms). So it has to be custom-configured for Play Store, then Amazon, then Apple, and so on. Plus, we don't have a complete In-App-Purchase pathway that works for our own billing systems yet (for PC/web installs), although we did add a lot of the mechanics to make that securely possible within the last few months.
So the simplest thing was just to basically "give" this particular Livery away to subscribers, and offer it for Crystal to F2P users, to at least get feedback on whether the system was working (which was good, as it turned out to have a number of platform-specific shader issues that didn't happen in our testing).
We expect to add a lot more Liveries, so there should be lots of other opportunities for purchasable content in the future.

I see, thanks :) Well, just in case, the Imperial Blargian Crest is a mushroom cloud. Or is it a tree? Either way, its purple. Or brown. Or grey. I think.
