Savet is a pirate.

Savet will demand money, and if you don't pay, he will kill you. It is extortion. It is immoral, dishonest, and cowardly.

When I say that Savet is a pirate, I mean it as a personal attack against Savet. I assert that since Savet engages in extortion, that Savet is immoral, dishonest, and cowardly.

This personal attack should not be confused with an "argumentum ad hominem". An "argumentum ad hominem" would be designed to distract or detract from some point or assertion made by Savet. Savet has made no such point. This personal attack against Savet is the primary point, and is not intended as a diversionary tactic to some other point. All "argumentum ad hominem" are personal attacks, not all personal attacks are "argumentum ad hominem". Not all personal attacks are an "informal fallacy".

Savet is a pirate.

This is a personal attack. And if this was nothing more than a personal attack, it could, and should, be removed from this forum.

But it isn't "just" a personal attack.

Savet is a pirate, and if and when you see Savet ingame, you should expect Savet to behave in the fashion of a pirate. This is not a debate. I am not attempting to talk Savet out of being a pirate. That Savet may or may not be embarrassed about being a pirate is not as important as other players being properly informed that Savet is a pirate, and should be expected to behave as a pirate. Savet's embarrassment (or lack thereof) is secondary to game play relevance.

This is a personal attack against Savet, for being a pirate, and a thread of this nature belongs in RP. Move it.
