Clarification of guild officers with respect to accounts
A simple question with regard to voting in guild officers (CO, Lts, Council) . Which types of accounts allow the in game voting of a player to these positions?
The reason I am asking is that some guilds have democratic elections outside of the game then implement those decisions within the game. It would be pointless to elect externally someone who could not be voted into office within the game.

Where are you going with this Ecka? Are you suggesting TGFT alts should be able to vote officers in another guild?
He is not suggesting anything, Ore. He is asking if F2P and/or Lite account characters are eligible to be voted into guild leadership. If not, then a guild like TGFT would have to clarify that only eligible account characters be nominated on their private forums.
That's a better explanation.
Shut up dirty, you suck.
Lol
The common knowledge is that TGFT isn't really a democracy. That old fart Ecka is the real Commander for as long as he lives, regardless who is actually holding the title.
There are some questions that only the devs can answer with any meaningful degree of accuracy, and there are some questions that can be easily tested accurately faster than you can get any meaningful response from the devs. This appears to be the later. lord knows how long it might take the devs to get around to answering such a simple question.
This was asked and answered in the past, but I don't remember the answer the devs gave.
Lite and free subs cannot hold leadership positions. I believe this is the question which is being asked. There are recent examples of guild leadership being lite prior to subscribing, then letting their sub lapse, and falling back to lite and losing their leadership position.
THC disbanded for a while because of something similar if memory serves.

:P
Savet is correct about this. Lite and F2P ppl cannot hold any positions in a guild except being a member. Also, if you do hold a council, lieutenant or commander position as a full subscriber and then drop to a lite account you lose that position the moment you login.
Pretty certain SERC has some f2p council members
It is still an open question. The devs make the policy, but I would like to be sure that the policy they decide upon is reflected in the actual implementation of the game.
SERC does not have any f2p council members.
F2P accounts cannot be anything other than basic members of a guild.

Thanks Ray.
