I seem to remember saying something like "I will be irritated if this shows up on a messageboard somewhere" ;).

:P

I do think the vulture looks better now. But why did you get rid of the side thingys on the atlas? Those look cool. And i vastly prefere that login screen to the current one.

Hehe yeah, it's funny how most games have cooler content in the alpha version or whatever, and then later on you bug the devs about why they didn't keep some of that stuff. Interesting phenomenon that happens commonly. Although if I were a dev I'd offer a bonus pack or easter egg that would offer some of that old school content just to make everyone happy.

Oh well.

I was going for a more streamlined look. I dunno, maybe the next time I redo it we'll have full component modularity for ships implemented, so maybe I'll do something like that again. We'll see.

Incarnate, I was poking around in your robots.txt file and found it... :P

Notice the frame rate indicator on the old login screen...

We could use a cooler-looking interface, that's for sure.. but.. not a priority at the moment.

Ah... What's that grey one? The first one... It'd look cool as a higher poly ship... Or did that become the hornet? Hmmm... Do you guys still have the stuff from the old login screen?

Heh: "Distribution is strictly prohibited."

Pyro is not distributing them, he's just drawing our attention to the existing Guild website that houses them.

I know, but the initial irony is funny.

Random suggestion: Let the planet slowly spin like it does in-game.

Wow if those models/textures were redone at higher detail those would make great additions. Possibly have them as special hard to find ships?

I like the Vulture fighter with horns, I mean come on? What is cooler than a killer fighter with twin horns on the sides? Nothin, thats what. Wouldn't want to be facing the buisness end of that boat.

The alien fighter is cool and I think would be awesome to joyride in and start some fights but...

As for the Atlas, man why did they change it? Wing things and then the separate engines? That would have been a killer combination. The Atlas now is quite frankly kind of weak.

On another note, John, who're these people we don't know about? The two listed above you on "The Company" page that I've never heard of...

And what is this gsynth?
