Just because some aspect of the game exists doesn't mean you have to engage in it, you know. Do you see me complaining about how I'm not here to play stare-at-the-wall any time something mining-related happens? I don't like mining as implemented in VO, so I don't mine. I don't like manufacturing as implemented in VO, so I don't manufacture. I don't like PVE trade as implemented in VO, so I don't PVE trade. But I understand that there are other players who enjoy those things, so I don't throw a hissy fit when the devs show them some love.

So you don't like mission trees? Tough. They are not required to play the game. They aren't even required to obtain those items -- that's what P2P trade is for. Find some manufacturing type who doesn't have their head up their ass and buy the gear off them if you need it so bad.
