iBook SE, clamshell-style, 466MHz G3, 320MB of RAM, Rage128 running 10.2.6
Hey, the oldest Mac:
Umax S900/233DP
upgr. to G3/450
384MB RAM
ATI R7k PCI
OS X 10.2.8
Vendetta ran pretty good on this trusty old machine, just v. 3.3.4 was a desaster, as it was on any Mac with ATI graphics.
Replaced by a G4 1,25.

um......how.
A friend of yours is on crack. You can't install OS X on a PC, period. Darwin is the closest you'll ever get to it. My guess is that they used a theme to make it look like OS X.
PS: That's not a rant.

I have had it running on the wifes "blueberry" 350mhz imac
It's of the slot loading 350's with the ati card, i think it has 128 mb of ram with 32mb on the video card.

No, he did it, I was there. It wasn't a theme. He soldered a bridge somewhere in the CDROM drive and played with it for a long time - It didn't run at all. it was just on there.

Check out http://gnu-darwin.sourceforge.net/x86.shtml for Darwin on X86. That's one of the projects. Another is www.opendarwin.org (AMD procs and VIA chipsets weren't supported when I trid Darwin out, and all I have is AMD... didn't get too far with them).

Slowest comp I got vendetta to run on is an AMD 650 w/ 32 meg TNT2 card. Still using the TNT2 card, but put a 1Ghz proc in. Oh, 192 megs RAM, but not a patch on roguelazer.
