We've been working on a big project, and stayed pretty late to try and get it out, but.. it'll have to wait. Better to ship it when we're awake and sane :). So, hopefully early next week.
God man the suspense is killing me!
1.9?
No, it isn't 1.9. I wish it were that awesome. But it's still a major experiment for us, and a big undertaking.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Dammit
Dammit
Better finish stuff and make it all working before releasing updates half-asleep hehe.
I'm looking forward to the update and I'm curious what it will be. Thanks for keeping it running as always, guys.

Is it a better system of player to player trade?
Will we be able to run around on stations and kill people fps style?
Is Capt'N B going to explode every time he calls someone Sweetheart now?
Will the Deneb AI be slightly less retarded and suicidal?
Did you create a new portal from Grey space to Deneb to make things easier for folks with sore feet?
Shields for non capital ships?
Nerfed Sunflares?
Made the trade system more dynamic?
Huh Huh huh? Daddddy!

I've figured it out.
1. They finally removed IRC connectivity (because that's a useless feature that is just used and abused by script kiddies and their trial accounts populating most bases to track users)
2. They decided to implement a signed system for vetting scripts to be used in game. Unsigned scripts would only be allowed in offline mode. Eleminating the use of "cheat" scripts
3. They have eliminated any fudging of mass (currently it seems only negative mass was eliminated). Ie, there is no way an atlas mark 2 can fly around like a corvus greyhound. Yet it's been known to happen.
and then the players rejoiced.

Lol.
You sound like dirty ore

Ooh ooh, have you finally replaced the level system with proper license tests?
Camo EC-89? w/ turret port? Thats my guess.
I'm guessing Trident type s and p! YEARGHH!
I'm guessing a new feature where all items at stations can be purchased either with credits earned in game or with Space Gems purchased at, say, $4.99 for 50 through microtransactions.
If Vendetta became Pay to Win, I would be mentally traumatised forever.
I bet rallen has it right. It was what 8 months ago when the new tridents were being released "this weekend".
It was a damn long time ago inevitable! Aye
To be honest, I've given them up for soon(tm).
Is it capturable Leviathans?
Is it the cult of Akan? Have they finally been discovered?
They are making /requestmoney a thing to help newbies pay pirates with odd names.
