monitor PKs in a sector
Is there a way to monitor Player Kills for a sector?
meaning, if I wanted to have a competition, a free-for-all, and see who gets the most PKs in a given time, is there something available, command or plugin, to monitor and record all PKs?
groups are limited in size and don't wish it to be limited to a specific guild. I'm wondering if there's something more general that can be used.

The problem with using plugins to monitor kills is that people have to actually install the plugins individually, and plugins are easy to tamper with so that they report false data.
The easiest way would be to make sure that at least one out of every eight participants is somebody you trust who is willing to help you run the event. Make those people group leaders and give them a plugin that records the data for their group members. Then when the fight is done, you have them report the data to you. And you'd want to remember to instruct the participants to ignore their group since it's a free for all, and that the group is just for data collection purposes.
Doing it that way minimizes both the number of people you have to trust and the number of people who have to install stuff. If you make a competition where everybody has to install a plugin, it probably won't fly.

You'd think with all their fancy bells and whistles RED would dominate in VO.
IMO, red fell into one of the traps of VO. They lost focus on the game in favor of building cool tech, and when there was no more tech to build, they kind of fizzled. This is the main reason I don't write plugins. That's a separate discussion though. This is something that should be built into the game and not require a plugin. It's the polish that makes stats useful, opposed to the active player graph.
Lol savet what a load of bullshit, we only built the cool tech and plugins because it was something new to do after getting bored with the many things the game lacks. I still play regular games with Mr. Chaos, we just dont play VO. That's not a trap, that's the game lacking long term retention value. I would rather be playing VO but we've honestly done it to death.
Anyway, more topically, you can do amazing things with plugins, but you're reinventing the wheel. This can be fun, but as savet points out, you get to a point where it just seems dumb the game doesnt have this stuff built in.
