This probably won't get any news posts added in the future, I made it mostly to see the old ones.

Hah, I joined right after one could own multiple ships.. I feel so spoiled.
That's cool Lemming. Did you get it all from our database?
I got most of them by checking the specific news post url and changing the ID number in it. The very old news posts I got from archive.org copies of the old site.
Very nice. Thanks for this, SL.
Here are a few good ones that I recall:
November 1, 2003: Changes can be found in sectors 5, 7, 9, 14, 15 and 18. All the added stations use the new "modular component" architecture. Advertising for various in-game shops and companies has been added, using a new language designed for the game
June 24, 2004: Version 3.5.0 marks the launch of the new universe.
November 1, 2004: The game is now online as a pay-to-play product [...] The pricing model is as follows:
1 month for 9.99
3 months for 26.99
6 months for 48.99
12 months for 89.99
24 months for 159.99
(prices haven't changed in nearly a decade :-) (excepting the new Lite sub, of course))
January 23, 2010: A new station located in Latos I-8 may now be conquered by players.
Good times, everyone. :-)
(There's way more in there than I would care to dig out right now, before any bystanders cop any snarky remarks about the number of meaningful updates :-) )

Yes phaserlight, for almost every other game in the genre the price has gone down to $0 per month, why are you highlighting this as though its a good thing.

Those games suck; of course they have to be free to get anybody to play them.

Vendetta test 3.2.0 was the perfect sized universe.
December 23, 2003 - Just remember every time you gripe it could have gone the way of parsec before you even knew about it
