I logged on my galaxy tab and discovered my levels on my lite sub were higher, but it wanted 99 cents to use specific ships and weapons that I used to have access to I was a bit suprised that I didn't have access to much in corvus without paying even fast charge which are level 2 are restricted on android. this is not a complaint as I can just log on on pc and buy more than I used to because my levels were higher before from switching from friend key sub to lite. I just want to open the discussion on this change and see what others think. I gladly paid 99 cents to buy a rag III now I can buy them any where on android. I think the Devs deserve thier pay they have done alot of work on the game lately I hope they get a cut.
Hmm looks like they put some of the microtransaction stuff in before doing an announcement for them.
Interesting.
For my own sanity, allow me to parse your statement:

I will have to check this out on my Lite account. Thanks for opening this thread. :-)

The best explanation that I’ve heard from an android user so far:
Max levels have been raised to 5/5/5/5/5 but anything over a license of 3/3/3/3/3 costs 99 cents.
The irregularly low license requirements at Corvus stations, once normalized, do not appear to circumvent the cash charge.
The charge is applied during the station purchase, not when equipping. So items received from drops and other means do not apply the charge.
I have not personally tested this.

Neat. Selling weapons to lite subs could actually become a thing.
Interesting, I guess this opens up manufacturing to lite subs. I'll have to try that.
Sounds good idea....
As long as we're discussing things
So one who only uses a few specific things in the game could perhaps pay for a lite sub, and 5 or 6 bucks to get all the items they use on a normal basis and save 110 bucks per year? :D

As long as you're satisfied with lvl 5 swag.
Ah, noticed this too, but wasnt sure at first if it was a bug or not. I guess not ;-)
Problem for me is, my bank charges me for paying in USD, so a 99c purchase ends up costing 2.99. Not guilds fault of course but if this is the norm for none-us players (im not sure it's normal, maybe my bank are just cock smoking morons) then none-us players may as well buy a full sub unless it is a permanent purchase.
Is it permanent?

I guess if there's a surcharge, having the option to put a bunch of stuff in your 'cart' and buy them at once would be useful?
Hi, I just rolled off a plane from E3. We're still experimenting with all of this. Currently, the IAP is also at equip-time, so it's needed even for a drop.
The reason why there has been no announcement, is because it's all still quite experimental. So, only the Lite subscribers currently see it.

It is only a guess and a bit OFF : Do you plan to introduce these micro transactions for full subs too?
No, Inc has expressed many times that he does not want to turn full subs into pay2win. These lite sub micro transactions are only to become 'equal' more or less with the full sub.
In the future I would like these transactions to also be available through the website for convenience, and also so I could pay via paypal.

Or perhaps just have the system set up so that actual charges only happen once per day, and combine all purchases the player made during that 24 hour period into one charge. That way it achieves the same end result without the player having to do anything special.

We're limited by the in-app-purchase implementations available from the vendors (Apple, Google, Amazon, etc). They categorically all require us to set up individual purchases per-item, which they bill however they want to. We don't really have a lot of options here. "Shopping cart" type situations aren't really a thing. Even if we tried to batch them, they would still be a batch of unique, individual purchases.
Aside from having VO$ to buy in-app you could then spread around how you'd like, but that gets messy.
So, how long do these in app purchases last? For instance I bought access to sunflares. (which unfortunately i realized later i could only equip them at Corvus stations) Will I have access to these only for my current subscription. Will it last a month? Or will I have access to them any time I'm lite subbed?
You have access to them indefinitely. Even if you switch to a Premium subscription and then switch back, you will still have access to them forever.
