Following this update, I am no longer able to login. No connection is ever made to VO server, but I was able to download the client update. I am Mac OS X and my internet/firewall is not to blame.

Same here. It seems to be on the server side.

There's some sort of problem with the server restart. Ray is working through it. He brought it back briefly on the older code, but is now trying the new stuff again.

..and now the server is back. Sorry for the brief outage, everyone.
