They still handle differently to the old model, but I likes. The Anny skin pretty sweet too, I flicked through the colour options, there are some cool looking colours.

Can Hogs (as a popular ship) be next in line for a similar model revamp? Or Centurions maybe?

The atlas is by far the ugliest ship in the game. Even the EC-88 looks better.

The Atlas and Hornet are both high on my list. The Vulture got the work first not because it was the worst looking (it wasn't), but because we happened to already have a half-done Vulture asset on hand.

I agree the Atlas and Hornet need a redux too, but I suggested the Hog/Cent as they are more popular ships and will get used. I reckon the Moths could use a redux too, based on the same theory...

Yeah, the new vult is awesome, it's just as good as the last vult, but looks bad-ass now :)

Inc: are there any plans to develop a 3d cockpit model per ship? It's rare to see a game do this Right (as opposed to awkwardly; I'm aware of the old "tape cockpit" picture) and I'm interested in the direction VO is taking. I understand if you can't share your plans yet, but I thought it doesn't hurt to ask.

A light yellow, and a darker pink. The blue bit in the middle sort of matches the blue tinted sections on the old anniversary vult, so I think it's supposed to be there. Or maybe the textures are close enough for my graphics card to fuck them both up in the same way

Nope, yours is right. The two-tone only seems to be really apparent if you pick brighter colors. The dark blue and blacks I usually paint on ships hardly show it.
