*** Vendetta 1.8.270
- Collision damage calculation now works more like the 2012 version, but retaining the improvements to threading, etc.
- Collisions of less than 50HP of damage are ignored, so small bumps don't result in actual hull damage.
- New "Power Cell Blaster" available at a Research station, somewhere in the galaxy. Depletes the enemy power cell by 50 units per hit.
- The Xang Xi Self-Propelled Concussion Mine can now be reloaded.

This is awesome...but we do realize the XX concussion mine thingy is useless and the item that needs to be reloadable is the Concussion rail gun, right?

Good to see collision damage back, and the energy drain weapon sounds neato. Nice update.

Wait, the XX conc mine launcher wasn't reloadable before? I'm pretty sure it worked well on the test server a while back.

Wait, the concussion mine was re loadable for a long time. I remember cause I used it in C-12 as there was no proximity mines in Pelatus.

But anyways, thanks Incarnate. This update is fucking awesome

I dunno how, the actual addon itself was definitely not reloadable, any more than the railgun. The values for ammo were unset, so it would not have had ammo available. But there might be a mission to get more ammo or something, I forget.

But anyways, thanks Incarnate. This update is awesome

Got any plans for a distinct sound/visual effect for the Power Cell Blaster? For something so different, it looks just like another Ion Blaster.

Am I correct in believing the power cell blaster is just an Ineubis Raven with a modified damage stat?

No. It uses less grid power, weighs less, and has a lower shot velocity too. It just happens to use the same effect as the ion blasters do.
