"Hmmm, will the Waylonist bible be printed in Waylonics?"
Only if the Waylonist bible reads like the Ferengi laws of acquisition, phrased in terms of pilots, ships, pirates, and merchandise.

Seems the new alphabet is an actually new charset on the signs, anybody up to helping me decode it? (if it is a simple substitution cipher)
Yeah. let's Photoshop-caption the signs until the real translations come up!
Well, when you get it, tel us all.
lol, but anyway, the Unofficial Waylonics Translating team has been hard at work this afternoon...translating..
Comprised mostly of Itani, the team has translated, or so we like to think, a sign saying "Welcome" another with "Ship dock here" on it, and yet another advertising for a starship store!

We have run into our first roadblock! yay!
From a comment from a1k0n about what one sign says "Sanbar first at ship repairs" we had to scrap our whole alphabet, for we found the sign that goes with it :/
So all we know now is how to spell "Sanbar" and a buncj of ideograms :/

er, edit be broken, the ideograms we think we know what stand for are repair, here, come, first, ship, and one we think is either at or in

It's not right. It turns "welcome" into gibberish.
A lot of info is being passed back on forth on what is ACTUALLY known...and so we are not certain on anything.
We have decided to take a break from it tonight after having a lot of fun trying to figure stuff out.

SWEET!
Basically our solid proof involves a dev saying he is uncertain on the translation he said.
Summary: we have no proof.

Well, the "and" ideogram makes sense.
Well...we kind of figured out why we were having such a hard time decoding. It ain't english for the normal letter like symbols. The pictos were close thou. :)
What language is it, pray tell.
Waylonish. Duh.
