I've read a few posts recently about the "empty" convoys, and I thought I should clear this issue up. These convoys are most assuredly NOT empty, they are chock full of air for all the peoples at the stations! Without these essential deliveries of air, not only would all the poor peoples manning and living on the stations asphyxiate, but your ships life-support would never be replenished.

So next time you come in to dock, and see these convoys, spare a thought for the breathing privileges of the fine folks who fix your ships, and refill all your ammo :)

Compressing air is more efficient than simply filling the cargo hold with it. I'd like to see Compressed Air Canisters drop from these most assuredly not empty convoys.
