Is there a way to map the left / right triggers on an xbox 360 controller for the PC?
I did some searching, and I found this entry on the Vendetta Online wiki:
http://www.vo-wiki.com/wiki/Xbox_Controller
In this example, it has Button10 and Button11 as the left / right trigger for the xbox 360 controller. It even has a 'sample config' that the original poster had used for his setup.
However, Button10 and 11 do not map to the left/right trigger, and even become blank if you assign then to +Shoot1 or +Shoot2 after you save the config and launch the game.
Does anyone know if there is a way to map the left / right trigger button for the Xbox 360? Specifically I'd like them to be primary and secondary fire.
I would like to avoid any third party software if at all possible.

I haven't used the Xbro controller in a while. Do those triggers show up as analog axes instead of buttons?
VO is a bit picky about where shoot1 and shoot2 are. it expects them to be bound to joy0button0 and joy0button1.
Well, there's that, then there's this "gamepad" nonsense where they're treated as not-joysticks with different names for their buttons and axes even though they're functionally equivalent to a joystick.
For example, on the OUYA, these "triggers" show up as L1, R1, L2, R2, even though two of them are buttons and the other two are analog axes.

I'm not sure what your asking here
Are you asking about the xbox controller used on PC ?
Assuming this is a PC with xbox controller.
Go to options/control/keyboard setup
-then mouse over the primary weapon and click it until it's red, then press your xbox left trigger button and it should map.
If your talking about the analogue trigger I think those are JOYRY and JOYRX, JOYRV, JOYRU
Check your config.ini file and read what it says under xbox controller or if you have the madcatz version you will see the entries like JOYRY= with no entry there
You may have to fill all those in with +Shoot1 or something till you find which one it is.
Also I don't think it's Button10 or Button11 either It may be something Like JOY0BUTTON11 or JOYBUTTON11 etc.
You may have to experiment with the entry lines on the config.ini to find out which one will be used for the analogue triggers. It does not appear it will bind automatically in the options/control/keyboard section.
It's probably going to be something like JOYRZ or JOYRX=+Shoot1 or something like that
But the other left/right buttons will
Hope this helps
