Roguelazer, did you have to invert the Y axis on both the left and right sticks? From my testing, it was necessary to get good results.

I have left Y axis, right Y axis, and right X axis all inverted

An update was released to change the default settings and add a virtual mouse that is controlled by the controller.

Please try it out.

The virtual mouse is a nice touch. It isn't as nice as a UI overhaul for mobile/10ft UIs, but it works decently enough.

Now if only flying worked ;).

I got mine today. Oddly enough, flying is about all I can do on it.

I've been playing on the Ouya for a few weeeks now. Once you get controls setup its actuly really good I got all my stuff to lvl 2 so I think I got a hang of it, I'm a full sub vendetta player #RED guild. gotta map that third weapon that's the main thing for 'combat after that I did very little, throttle up & down to d-pad, strafe all directions to right stick, L1 R1 weapons 1&2 button y for 3rd weapon left everything els alone. & the touch pad works fine for getting around the station menus. No its not a mouse buut no other controller even has a touch pad so is a very useful addition & like I said is more that enough for station menus. Also analog sticks track just fine at least mine do so IDK what people problem with that is. & BT 4.0 has INCREDIBLE battery life. 3 weeks controller batterys haven't dropped one bar, & I've put some miles on it. My 360 slim need batteys every 8hrs almost. I love the Ouya I'm 32 so I have a lot to compare it to. It has a TON of potential.

Bluetooth head sets. I can pair with the Ouya, I start vendetta, options, voice chat, top check box works fine . Bottom one where you elect you device is greyed out so I can't hit the drop down to see if my head set is being recognized. Don't know if that's on Vendettas end or Ouyas.

I think that's an Android thing in general. I wanted to use my bluetooth headset for voicechat on my phone but there's no way to select it in the game.

@incarnate: looks better in general. two more bits of feedback:

- entering strong passwords on the virtual keyboard is horrible. can we get a "Save Password" option?
- the confirmation messages for everything (with only an OK button) are impossible to use with the virtual mouse. please either let us bind a key to "OK", or just make them disableable altogether

Also, entering it on the on-screen keyboard repeatedly on a 40" TV is way more of a security risk than having it saved on the console. (Might also apply to mobile, since it's so easy to shoulder surf on-screen keyboards)

The confirmation messages are like that on Android phones too. Would it be possible to have a little message that pops up from the button you clicked and fades away instead of a modal dialog box?

roguelazer, you can press the 'A' button to click "OK" quickly on the OUYA controller. It's a lot less bad than on the phone :)

The AutoLogin plugin I wrote a while back could be used in the meanwhile. You have to hardcode the password into the plugin though. Note that I never got around to adding draug's upgrades and re-uploading. I'll have to check if I still have those.
