Considering that Serco Nationalist is just a pretty name for a pirate group, and only one or two people in that group have a trident, you surely must mean TGFT. Why, I have lost count, yet I think 7 or 8 people in TGFT have tridents, and another 2 to 4 members are working on their own, with help and support from other guild members. So, as you can see, unless you are a leader in the pirate group RED then you really should consider joining TGFT if you want any hope of building, and flying, a capital ship of your own. Yes, it was a heck of a battle, lasting more than an hour, was it close to two hours? And if I remember correctly, not just one, but a second trident went boom as well. I can hardly wait to see the full video. Thanks for editing and posting what you did, that was an entertaining six minutes, it even let me see what a fun plug-in you use to announce kills.

There are five serco tridents, four of which I was directly involved in the construction of.

Correct me if I am wrong, yet I am considered a Pillar of Society with the Serco nation, while you have been hated, even Kill on Sight, with your motherland more than a dozen times. Blocking a wormhole outside your own nation is criminal in nature as well, so you are behaving like a criminal, and in this game that makes you a pirate. So, that makes a person from TGFT more of a Serco nationalist than a pirate pretending to be one. There wasn't a fact in that jibberish at all. I've never been KOS with the Serco Dominion on my Nationalist character and I've always flown serco ships.

If you insist that video footage of you being pounded into dust because you were too silly to stay out of a nationalist conflict is good PR for TGFT I encourage you to show it to all prospective TGFT as a lesson of how not to behave.

I'm amazed at how a TGFT can actually get that take out of the video. "See, you new players! This is what you don't want to do! Fun is bad! Join us and start moving items between sectors, it's so much funner!" um, okay.

It's also pretty funny that you mention Trident counts, and how joining TGFT is better if you want to build a Trident. TRS spent hours last night helping me farm for mine, and many other members have offered up spare materials they have to ease the grind of building mine. And I've only been a member for like a week.

O come on, if you have to come here and start spewing accusations at least do your homework.

Blockading is not a crime, blockading is an Act of War (casus belli). We are part of the Serco military and take the fight for the freedom of our nation to Deneb and grey. We blockaded H2 in order to prevent incursion by Itani terrorists who are abusing grey space as terrorist training camps and weapon factories. The only reason you were attacked is because both you and your guild have been identified as part of the Itani axis of evil. We leave alone any true neutral guilds (such as ORE) and we do not shoot any non-aligned UIT who does not have high Itani standing. If you choose to side with terrorists, you bear the consequences.

If you would like to live and trade in peace in Serco controlled space, it is very simple: renounce TGFT membership, declare allegiance to the Serco nation, and live long and prosper.

If TGFT sees the error of its ways and would like to renounce their Itani allegiance, we are always ready to discuss terms.

In the meantime, we will seek out and destroy any terrorist and any who aid and abet Itani terrorism.

There you go. I quoted you. Implying that one has no chance of building a capship whilst in a serco nationalist guild. Yet here I am, and everyone has been supportive as shit towards my goal (while understandably calling me crazy). And I am certainly not a "leader" of this "pirate" guild -- just a lowly member that has only been playing the game for a month, and spent most of the time as a TRUE neutral UIT (unlike the corrupt Itani supporters known as TGFT).

There is no war with TGFT, wars are fought over territory or for conquest, the war for the conquerable stations ended a long time ago there are no more objectives to fight over. It's now just business as usual.

Nope. A pirate is a specific type of criminal. The term does not refer to criminals in general.

The core detail that makes somebody a pirate is that they plunder or extort, generally with profit being their main motivation rather than an incidental factor.

RED are very clearly not pirates. Racially motivated terrorists when considered from a non Serco viewpoint, perhaps, but not pirates. Even if they occasionally collect loot from their enemies, that's just part of warfare (to be specific, part 9 of chapter 2). It isn't their motivation and is only a small part of what they actually do.

I honestly cannot believe that it's even a debate as to whether RED are pirates or not. Just because someone kills you or pisses you off doesn't make them a pirate.

Also, I would not join a pirate guild. Ergo, we are not pirates.
