hey all- played for a couple years - ended 2010 - have been WOW'n and DIABLO3'n but no space games-- tried eve (meh) tried Star trek...for some reason i keep thinking of VO...well, since 2010 what has changed? looking at the SS i dont even recognize the ships anymore! is this still fun? are more people playing? are they supporting the game?
love to hear...looking at the forums i see alot of familiar names

I started in 2010 and there's been a bunch of new stuff since then. Border Skirmishes suck less and give you XP for kills and assists. There's player owned capships and conquerable stations. Avalon torpedos, some new turret weapons. A couple of tweaks to ships (they made valks a bit heavier)

Also, you can play on your phone/tablet/whatever now too.

I have played an and off for years.

There have been changes in the last two years, but it is still fundamentally the same game it has been for many years.

And still a low population.

Well, I'm still playing it.
Things were kind of slow when I first started, then war broke out and it's been pretty fun ever since.
