I found out about VO through the SC forums. I checked out the KS campaign and was impressed so I funded @ the $50 level.

I was wondering when I would be able to use my premium codes. Do I have to wait till the new version is released, or will I be able to use them as soon as the KS campaign is successful?

Unfortunately, I think I have a HD dying on me, so it might be a bit before I can install and play anything, but at least it is still under warranty.

IIRC, one of the devs said that those who pledged would receive their codes after the KS finished, if it succeeds.

We'll send them out as soon as possible, after the Kickstarter success, plus the two-week required waiting period for Amazon to clear the funds and send them to us.

I put down "May" as the delivery date, just in case something goes awry, but if they aren't sent out in March I'll be pretty surprised.

a short delay after the end of the kickstarter, but it's not a major challenge the key system already exists its just a matter of bringing the kickstarter data in which they release at the end of the campaign

I'm glad all our posting on the SC forums has been noticed, many of us here that pledged for SC too are hoping that SC plays a lot like a high fidelity VO, but in the meantime we'll just be here doing what we do.. blowing up spaceships!
