What would you name your system? and why

Aww fluffy if I was you i'd want it to be called "here be fluff" or "the big fluff" or "fluffiness"

I'd go with "Koprulu", but that could get the devs in trouble. "Shamtul" would have the same issue, though it's a good bit more obscure. Maybe a play on "Closet", especially if I knew in advance that there would be a lot of extremely tough cookies living in it. Otherwise, I think I'd probably just look up a bunch of foreign words for various concepts I like and pick one that sounds cool.

It's hard to pick an appropriate name for a region without actually knowing anything about said region.

I figured I'd point out that it's not actually a $10k pledge for the name your own system reward. It's $50k.

How about "The Captains Expanse"

With an exclusive player owned station in the system called "The Captains Club"
Where all approved pilots lounge and relax while watching owner selected movies on a mini HUD in the station and chatting in the bar
Slurping on Serco Ale and purchasing avalons which can only be purchased at this station with approval of the station owner and the price set by the station owner

Also player items can be consigned here for sale to other players and posted like an ebay auction style store or buy it now store for in game items

That way the players won't have to be online at the time of the transaction if they would like to sell something but don't want to meet in space someplace for a drop off. The station could simply be a hub for in game transactions as well as other interesting lounge like ideas
