I'm off to E3 for the week.

I'll be back to respond to Suggestions and such next week.

Ray has just returned from a different week-long work trip, and will be looking into some of the reported bugs and issues as soon as he gets a chance (we still have a bunch of non-public project stuff going on in the background, that we're juggling).

FYI all, have fun.

In early April I renewed my Vendetta Online subscription for one month. Very shortly after that I was admitted to a hospital and have not been able to play since. I believe that that month is either fully or almost fully unused.

Can you give me credit for a month please?

Thank you in advance for your consideration

Paul

Paulish, its better to put a ticket in (bottom left side of web site) they read that faster then this, hope for a speedy recovery

You definitely need to clawback that $9.99, Paulish -- it'll buy you a tongue depressor or half an aspirin (generic only) there.

He said that he would be back "to respond to suggestions and such", which he has been doing for awhile now.

I'll have a bunch of announcements and things before long, we've been very busy. But yes, I went to E3, then i came back with some kind of super-awesome virus and spent two weeks with bronchitis barely able to get out of bed. Then I went to San Diego to speak at Qualcomm's conference (with bronchitis!). And now I'm back, for a little while now, but still playing catch-up since I basically "lost a month".

I think there's a release tonight, maybe? Not sure, need to talk to Ray. We're working on some really important but technically complex architectural stuff, like being able to instance training sectors. Not the most thrilling changes, but really needed for help the game handle potentially huge player influx (being featured on the Android Market / Play Store is like a million new people in a week).

If the training sectors get too crowded just set off a TU mine

Nope, training newbs are literally invulnerable. Tridents have enough armor to survive the turrets for a while, and are fast enough to outrun them, so it was possible for us to break into the Dau training sector to try killing newbs. They didn't take damage, even when shot by a KOS Serco character.

That's odd, a month ago I made a noob and I was able to damage the turrets and other noobs

We were able to kill turrets just fine, just not the newbies.

Maybe something changed since then, or maybe newbies can hurt eachother (I thought they only had the training gun that doesn't hurt players though?). Maybe it was explosion splash and maybe that is exempt or something. But we had the serco version of Savet, UIT KOS, shooting a newbie in the face and doing no damage.

The newbies have weapons that do no damage to players, and the only other weapons available in the training sector have 1 damage (the bot guns).

Nobody picked up on the Firefly line? :(
