So no idea if I am allowed to post this at all or post it here but here goes.

I have been working on a simple android app to keep track of mineral finds within VO. The idea is that you log the finds and eventually I'll make it so you can search through the database for specific ore or combinations of ores.

You're completely allowed to post it, but usually add-ons belong on the community projects forum.

Cool! Have you seen targetless? It can do a similar thing directly ingame, although I'm not too sure how its roid finding interface compares to yours (also I believe a few of the larger guilds have exclusive plugins which are more advanced.)

@slime73: I am aware of targetless. I was going for something that was not in-game and would be easily searchable (not yet implemented but planned)

The MAID plug-in is useful in mining. I think it's a tool created by the ORE guild.
Targetless.
It's nice to look up your ore list on the HUD, select the ore you want and have it targeted, fly over and mine away.

Most guilds have their own tools - plug ins that extend the capabilities of the game.
Guilds tend to create tools that make their play style easier.

The TCS Suite has a lovely IFF interface with the radar, by name, guild, or faction.

Just thought I'd post it here in the hope that someone, somewhere might find it useful. I already have one download so it's already exceeded my expectations.

Aw, it says it's incompatible with my phone.

It's only compatible with android 4 at the moment but I am currently working on fixing that.

Just released an update.

Better device compatibility and fixed a crashing bug.

Another update. Sectors can now have notes assigned.

(It might take some time for the update to show on the play marketplace)

Now possible to search for minerals. Changes may take some time to show up in the market.

nice to know our mining mystique is pervasive, but no, ORE did not create MAID. We just use it lots.
