If someone decided to go for the 12 or 24 month billing option with recurrring payment is there a reminder email sent out a week or so before the actual recurrring payment is debited?

Just do your payment, and then cancel subscription, a years time from now it will stop you and remind you to pay before you get to login.

It's how I manage it.

When you subscribe you pay immediately, then at the end of the subscription period you pay again for the next period.

Buy in 2 yr blocks, then cancel as soon as you've paid. They'll remind you when you need to pay again. And $6+/mo is a lot more reasonable for what VO is than $9+ a month.
