Mining in Space, RL
We finally are coming back to space, this time for PROFIT!

this could be the grand-grand-....-grandfather of UIT.
This is so much related to VO that I posted in General... if Whistler prefers, can move it to OT section

This was already posted about.
Just an FYI, this would probably be the grand-grand-...-grandfather of the first space travelers that discovered the first wormhole. UIT are far, far past that. You'd need a lot of grands.
Whistler prefers his own thread about it from last week, but it's fine.
Thanks for that highly relevant post, Bob Dole.
Bob Dole would make a rude gesture, but....my arm...
If you only consider "grab few grams of anything and sell on Earth", that is very bad business...
But if they start serving rocket fuel, oxygen, water, etc, in orbit, like for ISS, satellites and other space missions like moon or mars, then you have a great business. Ice ore into rocket fuel only requires electricity, free from sun panels, and storage modules for hydrogen and oxygen.
Then space microfactories producing metal plates and a space shipyard seems sooner than never!

Yes, we read the article, thanks. When Whistler posted it.
