Might just be me but I reckon it should be a dirty, low down, visceral, joystick bending hoor of a game. It is a game of killing folk. Quit whinging, under it all the pvp engine is superb.

So what do I get when I log in ? I'll tell ye . Numpties on IRC trying to show how clever they are. Folk ingame crowing about voys they killed and running away when pvp shows up. Static bots telling non existant rat guilds that I just flew through l2 or o7 .... Three hours in grey tonight , one half decent rat ..

The sad thing is you're serious. The rest of us have mountains to ski, work to do, booze to drink, quim to bang, more work to do, holidays to celebrate, and finally some wrecks to dive. This sorry excuse for a MMORPG? Maybe it'll get an hour or so of my time between now and 2012... but I doubt it.

I've all but given up on trying to bring the old demeanor back. Sometimes I wonder if putting turrets in nation space was actually the worst thing that could've happened to this game.

I dont think the turrets are so much a problem as the easily exploitable broken faction system. :P

I listen to PIRATES whine when I won't 1 v 1 them. Which is exactly why I don't duel anymore, because people have it in their silly heads that I am *required* to. I mean really, what kind of pirates whine about crap like that, I almost have to vomit. And if pirates are acting like that and they're the criminals then imagine what the rest are doing. I'll tell you what their doing, wearing monocles and talking about interguild politics and how their making millions. Big frikken deal, didn't realize I was paying for carebear online with the snooty wall street expansion pack. And I can't attack a unions shmuck, because he has tri pos and is a delegate in VOTO (Vendetta Online Treaty Organization). Shaddup, because a fantasy game is becoming too much like reality. I feel like if I shot someone outside a cordial 1 on 1 duel there would be a public outcry demanding that I should be banned.

Alloh... if you're going to challenge Mecha, then be reasonable. Finding one hundred people to waste in VO these days is nigh impossible.

I'm one of those new players, and perhaps a bad pirate by your standards ecka. But look at it this way...I'm out there to pirate. You are simply bad for business. While I'm fighting you, traders could be making it through. If I wanted to strictly pvp, I'd be flying around in a valk or prom, and spending all my time in b8. I'd rather spend my time trying to create a reason for traders to be nervous entering grey space. I'd rather pvp against someone who has something to lose. If you want more pirate activity, join VPR. They'll come out of the woodwork to attack you. Unfortunately, a trader who doesn't trade simply isn't a very appealing target. At the very least, start escorting your fellow guild mates so they can travel through grey space without paying for it.
