Testing Database-Threading Overhaul
For the last couple weeks, we've been overhauling the way one of our server components interacts with our database. The upshot is a lot of potential for new bugs (which should be relatively-easily discovered and fixed), and hopefully a lot of long-standing heisenbugs being squashed. We've done a fair bit of testing already, including with the help of some players tonight, but it would be surprising if there aren't a few bugs lurking in the dustier corners of the game.
Please help us find any remaining issues, over the next two days, on the test server, so that they don't all crop up 10 minutes after release. I've updated the test server's list of users, so anyone who's account is older than ~25 hours should be able to log in (you won't find any recent characters there, however).
To access the test server, enter "test:" (without the quotes) before your username, when logging into the game.
Thanks!

Hmm,I popped into :test, ran a few voys , messed about a bit. It ran just the same as main, from my point of view.
I was checking out the border skirmishes today and kept getting booted back to the login screen every couple of minutes.
Sorry ARF- that was me restarting the server repeatedly. I was running into a confusing client-side problem that led me to believe that no one could log in (rather than just that client). Thanks for all the testing you've been doing!
That explains why it stopped right after i posted here :)
