As you may be aware I make these music videos for Vendetta Online from time to time. This one is a little different in that it's down-tempo, does not feature any combat, and includes some clips from the final Shuttle mission:

There are a lot of extreme long shots and pixelated transitions to artwork from the backstory to set up a kind of what if scenario involving the space program and Vendetta's own unique history, set to a trip-hop beat by Thievery Corporation and the Flaming Lips. There is some sentimentality to this one as I was less than a year old when the Shuttle program began and like many kids I dreamed of becoming an astronaut one day.

This video was actually uploaded a few months previously but I wanted to draw some attention to it as I think it gives the (correct) impression that there is more to the Vendetta universe than meets the eye. A lot more.

I have to say, it is really good! I like the mood, the pretty takes and how the music meshes with the video.

For some reason that take with the dark starry background and the lone spaceship moving across in the distance at 1:50 really struck the right note here.

So, yeah, pretty imovie transitions and whatnot, but your explanation had more power than the video.

That's okay, I've learned to take everything tumble says with a grain of salt, and not to take myself so damn serious. I only ask for feedback so that I can continue to improve on future efforts.

I rather liked it . VO can be a solitary game, if that is the mood you are in. VO has a tradition of abstract creativity, the writings of whytee, the videos of yourself and ghost. I enjoy them, and support a game that inspires ideas.



Really, anything said by tumble/impavid is straight in the junk box. He is the best reason I can see for having a /ignore function in the forums.
