yeah i saw that one, man what a hypocrite, phft, people like him shouldn't be allowed to play this game.......no really i'm just kidding. But I didn't know about alienb's complaint until after i posted it. Besides at least i didn't do it in main chat and/or constantly spammed his pm for minutes on in.

But you spammed. Rationalizing it doesn't work.
Now I was on one of the many times that Alienb brought sector 7 to a crawl, and I don't have very much respect for his actions, but sinking to his level and responding in a similar way will only warrant the same type of resentment. The mature response is an /ignore or avoidance, not "getting even/back" at them. Rest assured that eventually spam will be an offense, and it's not a good idea to get into the habit of doing it. Not a good one at all....
At the most, it could get you banned; at the least, it was impolite, rude, and in bad taste (not to mention your choice of words being quite offensive).
Please show more discernment in the future, and pause before doing something and ask yourself, "How would I feel if this were done to me?" If you received the verbal abuse that you dished out, you most likely would have posted it on the forum (and indeed you did, in another similar thread).

the cargo thing is not simply rude and pointless, but spam is.
Does /msg go sender-server-receiver or sender-receiver?
We need an auto ignore, some one /msgs someone so many times in a set amount of time they get ignored, if the messages keep coming they should be automagically reported, if the reports pile up they automagically get muted.

Then why did you spam him? Spamming makes team chat inaccesible, normal chat inaccesible, and authentic messages inaccesible. If you begin to get irrational, log off before you do something you will regret.

ok really i think i made my point that i'm not going to do it again so battering the minute details of my post of trying to defend myself is only going to drag this pointless thing further and further. I acknowledge that what i did was stupid and I now know better so therefor it won't happen again. And just for the sake of saying i'm sorry, i'm sorry alienb for spamming your chat. Now can we leave this thing alone and do the "mature" thing. jeez
There is a bug at the moment where people can make names that are impossible to ignore unless you actually go inside ur ignorelist on ur computer and add them manually. So /ignore wouldn't exactly work. And most people don't touch/know whats inside the vendetta folder. So they will just stay spammed.
