The shared radar thing actually sounds interesting... like one might want to set the ship in a storm/fog sector and be able to operate much better than groups without the capital ship. Funny that... it's like there are possibilities there...

Well, you could always do the same thing with a centaur or ragnarok with a storm radar and group radar, but the trident is way less likely to get blown up.
