Hi all,
Lately ive seen alot of people asking (myself included) about all the manufacturing missions there now are in Vendetta, especially the very complex Trident M Class mission.
Some of the larger guilds have secret databases and forums with all the lists of items and locations for each mission.
So I decided to host a website purely for manufacturing, it has every item manufacturable in vendetta along with the locations for each items.
The Trident has a full break down of how it works and each particular stage/locations for the particular manufacturing missions. This information may be slightly off since I am still building mine and alot of info is currently missing on the trident. This information along with the website aesthetics will get updated as I progress through the construction stages for the trident.
Hope this information is useful to you.

Thanks,

I'm a complete noob here so I have no idea how useful this info is, but I've bookmarked it for future reference, thanks :-)
Somewhat annoying with the flash though... but I suppose I can live with that :-)

What a coincidence, "annoying" is breazle's middle name!
Why don't you make it simpler, register yourself in vo-wiki.com and edit the pages in wiki?
All tools already deployed, and 'centralized'.

Phaserlight has already put a bunch of work into adding manufacturing information to the wiki.
The new resource is really useful, perhaps you should add it to community sites and community projects page.

Phaserlight submitted only basics in manufactoring, but http://www.vo-manufacturing.co.uk/ contains detailed info ;)

ye i can like on the community sites.
As I said before if you dont find it useful dont use it, I had it all on a local server for myself and found it useful, no more going back and looking at notepad files or badly formatted tables, so decided to host.
Hopefully it will be useful to some. I was also thinking about adding roid locations but saying which roid may be difficult, maybe a tls download will all the roids inside could work

It's always nice to see another site dedicated to VO spring up. Breazle's welcome to any of the info on the wiki, or vice-versa.
Ok apart from working out the cu amounts for the trident (not taking into account making the modules/components)
All the info on the trident has been finished, the site just needs the drop down link sorting.
But whilst i was working out amounts needed i found something I didnt quite believe so i'd love someone to correct me on this.
I worked out you need:
Fused composite plating: 1182
Fluid formable silksteel: 1212
Which accounts to: 30,000 synthetic silksteel which is 4cu each and must be obtained by shooting bots.
Fluid formable requires 50 silksteel a go aswell so thats: 60600 silksteel = 303 xc's
So thats 903 xc loads before you even start manufacturing stuff for the trident
And thats not taking into account:
Fused Composite plating = 120cu
Fluid formable = 50cu
Which will all need moving around
See here for figures: http://www.vo-manufacturing.co.uk/workings.html

It used to be worse.
Your FFSS and FCP numbers are correct (assuming the Bractus Reinforced Bulkhead is used), but I get total synth silksteel of 30,032 and total silksteel of 71256.
If Nyrius is used, the FCP count drops to 582.
I have a spreadsheet detailing all the calculations, including volume and approximate costs, if you want it.

Ah ye the SSS theres 16 for other things thats not the FFSS/FCP
only thing i currently dont have is the cu for each market item on the main mission but i was gonna travel around later and collect that, if i see you ingame i'll drop you a convo though.
Thanks

damn ... that's a lot of steels
The cu for most items is on the wiki: http://vo-wiki.com/wiki/Trade_Goods_by_Class_of_Goods

thanks spuck cu list has been updated....
Approx: 2000 XC loads
Average distance per XC: 3 systems
Average system travel in XC: 90 seconds
Average Docking Time to dock in M-7: 4 minutes
Approx: 160 hours of pure hauling....
Then the 11,000cu of mining....
Then the 60,000 bots to shoot to get the SSS (Average 50% drop rate)
and you have your trident :)

ok, now that you make me look at the whole thing...
I WANNA STINKIN' BADGE FOR THIS BEAST!!!
and a license plate frame for my car that says "My other car is a Trident Type M"
and a pony.
(Lecter, please insert that crybaby photo here for me, will you?)
BTW, Breazle: taking a look at your site, the final trident assembly mission is a "5th tier" manufacturing. While tier 1 is assembled from purchasable, mineable, & scavenged items, each next tier requires items from some or all the lower tiers.
tier 1: Fused Composite Plates, FFSS, Merged Cybernetics Arrays, Optical Sensor Arrays
tier 2: Reinforced Bulkheads, 80MW Pulse Engines, 200MW Reactor, Master Computer
tier 3: Internal Bulkhead Assemblies
tier 4: External Hull Assemblies, Engine Pylons, Docking Bay Hangar Assemblies
tier 5: Trident Type M

hmmm guess your right actually.... Though your way would make it 6 tiers
tier 1 = buyable/scavenging items to make tier 2 and above
tier 2 = FCP, FFSA, Optical Sensor
tier 3 = Reactor, Egine, Computer, reinforced bulk heads (they only require tier 1/2)
tier 4 = internal bulkheads (requires tier 1/2/3
tier 5 = docking bay, enginy pylon, external hull assembly (requires all of the above)
tier 6 = Trident M Class
I have editted

Done and done.

I think "buyable/scavenging items to make tier" would be tier 0, since you don't manufacture any of them. Tier 1 should be manufacturables that don't require other manufacturables.
CD is right :)

I concur with CD on 5 tiers (I had to arrange them lowest to highest in my spreadsheet for the calculations to come out correctly). Non-manufactured items shouldn't be considered a tier.
The total volumes I get are 514,639 cu for everything, 173,264 cu for manufactured items, 341,375 cu for non-manufactured items, and 57,139 cu for ore. I guess your numbers are just for the final Trident assembly mission, but it is misleading when you preface them with total.
Approximated cost for the purchasable items is 51.77M cr

well it does say underneath that this doesnt include compoents, i just made a rough guess at components being 350k.
and tier doesnt have to mean manufacturing tier was just meant things.... 6 different things to collect. But as you like
